Logo-New-Phrase-v1-small     The Clear Lake Road Riders Club (The Club) is a non-profit group of motorcycle enthusiasts who work together to better their community, enhance children’s lives, and celebrate the joy of motorcycle riding. The Club promotes social, educational, and recreational activities for members.

The Clear Lake Road Riders Club was incorporated June 18, 1984. Since that day, there has been a dedicated and committed effort by the Club to strive for building a better community and making a difference in the lives of children, near and far.

As a non-profit, we pledge to donate money locally and globally. We make annual donations and support the work of the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation (PBTF). The Club hosts the annual The Christmas Fun Poker Run which helps provide toys and games during the holiday season to children. The Club also donates to various other local charities such as the Lake County Senior Center.

Our Events:

Bob Reese Memorial Run

The "Bob Reese Memorial Run" was established in 2002 to honor Bob Reese. At the time of his passing, Bob was the President of the Clear Lake Road Riders. Bob Reese was a big supporter of the "Ride For Kids" . This is a ride that is held every year to honor those children that have had, or are dealing with brain tumors. All of the proceeds that are raised at the Bob Reese Memorial Run are donated to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. This foundation works diligently in their research to find the cause and cure for brain tumors in children.

The Bob Reese Memorial Run is always held the third Sunday in May.

Christmas Fun Poker Run

In the past years, the Clear Lake Road Riders hosted the "Taylor's Tavern Run". Tony Taylor and his wife Judy, along with their staff were instrumental in helping our club to raise funds through ticket sales to a marvelous chicken bar-b-que. These funds were the key to the success of the annual "Lake County Christmas Toy Run". The Lake County Christmas Toy Run was created in 1992 by Paul and Barbara Breunig to provide a Christmas gift to the less fortunate children of Lake County.

In October of 2011, it was decided that due to the inclement weather conditions in December, that it was in the best interest to combine these two events to help ensure the participation of the public. " The Christmas Fun Poker Run " was then adopted. This event is always held the second Saturday in October.
